One Liners Polk: Integrated Supply Network, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and more

Florida Polytechnic University will introduce two new Master of Science degrees, this fall, in data science and engineering management.

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation awarded Polk County Fire Rescue a $36,665 grant to purchase a new Hurst “jaws of life” water compatible extrication tool set for its fleet.

Physician and urgent care specialist Manoj Dhariwal returned to Watson Clinic to provide comprehensive treatment for minor illnesses and injuries at the clinic’s XpressCare Highlands location at 2300 E. County Road 540A, in south Lakeland.

Two local Asian-focused food businesses, Pinoy Cravings and Omusubee, won launch micro grants of $10,000 from Catapult Lakeland.

Emily Colón, who was hired as third in command at Lakeland City Hall in February 2019, has been promoted to the second-in-command position of deputy city manager.

Integrated Supply Network, international distributor of automotive tools, garage equipment and supplies, in Lakeland, promoted Pete Peterson to president of its U.S. division.
