► The historic Mira Mar building at 49 S. Palm Ave., has been sold to Sarasota developer Seaward Development, which plans to demolish the existing building and build 70 condominiums as well as retail space.
► Plans for two outpatient oncology facilities for the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System were approved by the Sarasota County Public Hospital Board and will move forward, one being a cancer outpatient pavilion at the Sarasota main campus and the second building will be a cancer center at the Venice campus.
