Tampa-based door manufacturer Masonite (NYSE: DOOR) announced plans to acquire North Carolina-based manufacturer Endura Products, in a $375 million cash deal. 

The Tampa Bay Partnership announced that Brian Auld, president of the Tampa Bay Rays and vice chair of the Tampa Bay Rowdies, has been named the 26th chair of the organization.

The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council has announced its new slate of executive officers who will help lead the organization, in fiscal year 2023, including Angel Gonzalez, regional president at SouthState Bank, as chair; Joe Lopano, chief executive officer of Tampa International Airport, as vice chair; Ron Christaldi, managing partner at Shumaker, as secretary and treasurer; and Ben Dachepalli, a partner at Bradley, as general counsel. 

The Tampa Museum of Art announced that philanthropist and art collector Jorge M. Pérez gifted a monumental sculpture by Colombian artist Fernando Botero and a $1 million cash gift to the museum.

Premier Sotheby’s International Realty promoted Mackenzie McGuire to senior marketing director of the Tampa Bay region. 

Steve Morey, senior vice president of economic development at the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council, was named president and CEO of the Plant City Economic Development Corp.
