One Liners Polk: Lakeland Linder, Centex and more

Centex, a division of national homebuilder PulteGroup, opened its latest Polk County community,Lake Alfred Pines, at the intersection of Old Lake Alfred Road and North Buena Vista Drive. 

The Watson Clinic Foundation, in Lakeland, received a grant from the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, in the amount of $15,000, for the Bridge of Hope Program. 

Jona-Bells, a new cafe offering Brazilian acai bowls, has opened, at 3135 Knight Station Road, Lakeland. 

Korea-based LowCarbon and Florida-based Ocean Green Hydrogen held a groundbreaking ceremony for their clean hydrogen and carbon capture plant, at 5000 Old State Hwy 37, Mulberry. 

WorkComp Solutions, a workers’ compensation insurance firm in Lakeland, was nominated for the CompLaude Award, presented by Workcomp Central.
