B2 Communications co-founder Missy Hurley named agency’s CEO

Missy Hurley, a co-founder of the public relations agency B2 Communications, has acquired co-founder Kyle Parks’ shares of the company, becoming the sole owner and chief executive officer of the agency, based in St. Petersburg.

Parks will move into a consultant role with the firm.

“Kyle and I built a solid foundation for the agency together and the agency will advance over the coming years,” said Hurley. “B2’s next chapter will focus on delivering exceptional communications counsel for our clients, while evolving to address emerging issues, like responsibly using AI in PR.”

Hurley has led the operational and financial functions for the agency, in addition to counseling the firm’s clients in communications, over the past 13 years. She’ll move from principal and co-owner into the CEO role.
