The Cake Girl’s inaugural “Fill the Van” initiative helped to deliver presents to more than 250 children in the Tampa Bay area, through community support, resulting in over $8,000 worth of toy donations.
Among the standout contributors, Pro Soccer Player and Serial Entrepreneur, Chris Frederick, with a $3,000 donation.
“Chris has always lent a helping hand to any community efforts we have been involved in. His $3,000 donation, this year, was something that I am completely blown away by and the smiles that the kids had when opening the toys was priceless,” says Kristina Lavallee, founder and owner of The Cake Girl.
Children that benefited were from foster care at The Children’s Home, in Hillsborough County, and, also, The Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay.
