Local space safety tech company joins Tampa Bay Technology Incubator Program

GuardianSat, a Tampa-based space safety technology company, has been accepted into the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator, a part of USF Research and Innovation.

The Tampa Bay Technology Incubator offers access to mentors, networking events, educational webinars, state-of-the-art facilities and critical research equipment.

Co-founded by Rob Briskman, the “Godfather of Space Communications,” and Chris Rohe, GuardianSat is working to develop advanced systems and processes to mitigate risks posed by orbital debris and anti-satellite weapons.

“Being part of TBTI’s incubator program empowers us to leverage the vast resources, and expertise, available through USF Research and Innovation,” said Briskman. “This collaboration is a leap forward in our journey to ‘KEEP SPACE OPEN’ by eliminating the risk of satellite collisions and defending against hostile threats.”
