Clearwater native Noah Lyons qualifies for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris

The Clearwater Community Sailing Center has announced that Clearwater native, and lifelong member of the center, Noah Lyons has qualified to represent the USA in the IQ Foil Windsurfing Class, at the 2024 Olympic Games, in Paris.

Lyons, who began his sailing career at the age of 6 with the Optimist class, has risen through the ranks of competitive sailing. He transitioned from youth sailing to competitive windsurfing in classes such as Techno293, Kona and RSX.

“Noah’s journey from a young enthusiastic sailor at our center to a world-class athlete has been nothing short of remarkable,” said Jeff Parke, former president at Clearwater Community Sailing Center. “His dedication to the sport and his ability to inspire our youth sailors are profound. We are incredibly proud to support him as he pursues his Olympic dreams.”
