Tampa Bay Innovation Center names startups for spring accelerator program

The Tampa Bay Innovation Center, a technology incubator, accelerator and coworking office, has announced the startups that will participate in its spring accelerator program.

Throughout the program, founders of these companies will receive specific training and mentoring in customer discovery, product strategy, investor readiness and market validation.

The startups selected for this program include:

•               AgWise (St. Petersburg) – tracking and analyzing climate-impact of agriculture supply chain

•               Cupper (Bradenton) – creating eco-friendly coffee pods

•               Mudder AI (New Haven, Connecticut) – tracking the impact of weather events on communities

•               Numa Notes (St. Petersburg) – a tool for capturing medical records accurately and efficiently

•               Virginica (Tampa) – artificial reefs for oyster beds and carbon capture

•               ZingIan (St. Petersburg) – monitoring to limit annoying and unlawful use of aerial drones

ARK Invest, Duke Energy and PODS Moving & Storage are among the corporate champions backing the program.

Participating companies will present at TBIC’s 8th Innovation Showcase event, which will be held in the ARK Innovation Center, in downtown St. Petersburg.
