Thorn Collection Hosts 11th Annual Lemonade Stand for Pediatric Cancer Research

The Thorn Collection of Coldwell Banker Realty will hold its 11th annual lemonade stand, in Belleair Bluffs, on October 3, to raise funds for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

The event will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at 598 Indian Rocks Road North.

This year’s event honors 13-year-old Tyler Harrison, who was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. Harrison is undergoing an intensive treatment plan, including 29 weeks of chemotherapy and surgery.

The Pediatric Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to funding research to combat childhood cancer, will receive 100% of the proceeds from the lemonade stand.

Since its inception in 2014, the Thorn Collection’s lemonade stand has grown from raising $3,000 to over $300,000 for pediatric cancer research.

In addition to lemonade, cookies from Kookie Krums and hot dogs from Annie Get Your Bun will be available, along with face painting for children.

To contribute online, donations can be made at ThornCollectionLemonadeStand.com. All proceeds will go directly to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
