Peak Surf Park secures land in Pasco County, eyes 2027 opening (RENDERINGS)

Peak Surf Park, a surf-focused attraction planned for Tampa Bay, has secured a 35-acre site within the Two Rivers development, in Pasco County.

The park, which is set for completion in late 2027, aims to bring surfing and entertainment amenities to West Central Florida.

The park’s central feature will be a large surf lagoon, powered by Surf Lakes technology from Australia, surrounded by half a mile of beach. In addition to surfing, Peak Surf Park will include concert and event spaces, bars, restaurants, retail shops, fitness and wellness facilities, and educational and business spaces.

The project is part of a broader master-planned community by Eisenhower Property Group, which will include residential and commercial developments, along with recreational facilities.

Founder Tony Miller, who first announced his vision for the surf park in 2022, said the project aims to create a “unique, unparalleled guest experience” in Tampa Bay. Miller commissioned an economic impact study, in 2022, that estimated the park could generate $1.3 billion in business output and approximately 700 jobs, over the next decade.

The Two Rivers development, spanning 6,000 acres and extending into Hillsborough County, will feature amenities such as a private social club, tennis courts, pickleball courts, pools, playgrounds and a regional park, with shopping and dining. The community’s centerpiece is an 18-hole golf course, designed by Scottish architect David McLay-Kidd.

Miller has launched a crowdfunding campaign, aimed at accredited investors, to support the project’s pre-construction phase, with plans for additional funding options next year.
