Peak Surf Park secures land in Pasco County, targets 2027 opening

Peak Surf Park plans a surf-focused destination in Pasco County as part of a large-scale mixed-use development, targeting a 2027 opening.

Peak Surf Park has secured a 35-acre site within the Two Rivers master-planned community in Pasco County, advancing plans for a large-scale surf and entertainment destination in Tampa Bay.

What is Peak Surf Park?

The project, slated to open in late 2027, will be anchored by a surf lagoon powered by Surf Lakes technology from Australia.

The lagoon will be surrounded by approximately half a mile of beach and will be supported by food and beverage concepts, retail space, fitness and wellness facilities and flexible event and programming areas.

Peak Surf Park is being developed as part of Eisenhower Property Group’s broader Two Rivers development, which spans roughly 6,000 acres across Pasco and Hillsborough counties.

Amenities planned for the surf park

The master-planned community is expected to include residential neighborhoods, commercial development, recreational amenities and a regional park.

Founder Tony Miller first announced plans for the surf park in 2022 and positioned the project as a regional destination rather than a niche attraction.

Economic impact and development

An economic impact study commissioned that year projected the park could generate $1.3 billion in business output and support approximately 700 jobs over the next decade.

Two Rivers’ planned amenities include a private social club, tennis and pickleball courts, pools, playgrounds, shopping, dining and an 18-hole golf course designed by Scottish architect David McLay-Kidd.

To support pre-construction efforts, Miller has launched a crowdfunding campaign targeted at accredited investors, with additional funding options expected as the project advances toward construction.
