⊲ Pennsylvania-based Voodoo Brewing Co., a punk rock-themed brewpub, opened at 220 4th Street North, in downtown St. Pete, serving craft beers, seltzers, cocktails and pub fare, in a 7,300-square-foot building formerly home to Orange Blossom Catering.

⊲ Great Place To Work and Fortune magazine have selected BayCare Health System as one of the 2024 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women, BayCare’s fifth time being named to this list.

⊲ Achieva Credit Union, in Dunedin, named Renee Grauer as its new president of retail sales and service.

⊲ Pinellas Education Foundation announced Power Design’s new storefront, at Enterprise Village, in the Stavros Institute, offering hands-on learning in free enterprise and trade industries for fifth-grade students.

Speer Dream Foundation continued its support for St. Petersburg College


⊲ The Speer Dream Foundation continued its support for St. Petersburg College by increasing their funding for the First Step Scholarship, which was designed to help students pursue workforce certificates in high-demand fields, enabling them to gain the skills necessary for rewarding careers.

⊲ PTM Partners and DoveHill Capital Management opened Solidcore, a 1,400-square-foot high-intensity, low-impact workout studio at the Moxy by Marriott Hotel, in St. Petersburg’s EDGE District, located at 1234-1246 Central Avenue.


⊲ Code Wiz, a children’s coding and robotics education center, celebrated the grand opening of its first St. Petersburg location, at 956 62nd Avenue North, with a community event featuring hands-on coding activities, local businesses and a donation drive.
