Ronald A. Christaldi reappointed to New College of Florida Board of Trustees

Ronald A. Christaldi, a Tampa attorney and community leader, has been reappointed to a second five-year term on the New College of Florida Board of Trustees.

Christaldi, a partner at the Shumaker law firm and president of Shumaker Advisors Florida, will continue to serve as vice chair.

New College, founded in Sarasota in 1960, is a designated honors college and was named the No. 1 Public Liberal Arts College by Washington Monthly, in 2023. The school serves more than 800 students on its 110-acre campus.

Christaldi was recently appointed to the Board of Supervisors for the Hope Innovation District and serves in leadership roles with several organizations including as chair of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council and Leadership Florida. He is also chair-elect of the Tampa Museum of Art Board of Trustees and a founding board member of the African American Arts and Cultural Center.
