Thirsty Buffalo Brewing has launched Brahman Golden Ale. Sales from the beer will support the University of South Florida student-athletes through the Fowler Avenue Collective, the university’s name, image and likeness collective.
A portion of proceeds from every sale of Brahman Golden Ale will go to the collective, which helps USF athletes benefit from NIL opportunities. The beer, created by Thirsty Buffalo Brewing owners and USF alumni Mike and Erin Bishop, is available at the brewery’s locations in Odessa and Land O’Lakes, as well as select restaurants, bars and stores in the USF area.
“This collaboration is a perfect example of how alumni, fans and students can get directly involved in supporting USF athletes,” said Will Turner, director of revenue and engagement for Fowler Avenue Collective.
Thirsty Buffalo Brewing will host a watch party for the USF-Memphis men’s basketball game on March 7 at its location at The Hub at Bexley. The event, part of Tampa Bay Beer Week, begins at 8 p.m., with tipoff at 9 p.m. USF alumni members who show their membership card will receive a complimentary Brahman Golden Ale.
Fowler Avenue Collective, established in 2022, is the official NIL collective for USF athletics. The organization connects fans with student-athletes through events, merchandise and other engagement opportunities.
