Lithium Battery Company is opening a 65,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, at 5201 S. Westshore Blvd., in South Tampa, bringing 50 high-tech jobs, over the next three years, to produce cylindrical and prismatic lithium battery packs for applications ranging from small electronics to commercial energy storage systems.

Liquor Depot, a family-owned business founded in 1990, has opened its sixth Tampa location, at 3611 W. Hillsborough Ave., under the leadership of Trey Lawson, who took over from his father, Frank Lawson, in 2018. 

Ronald A. Christaldi, Shumaker Partner and president and CEO of Shumaker Advisors, has been named to the board of supervisors for the Hope Innovation District, which is leading the development of SPEROS FL, a 775-acre global innovation center by Moffitt Cancer Center, in Pasco County. 

CR Fitness Holdings, a franchisee of Crunch Fitness, has appointed Rich Merrill as senior vice president of marketing to lead strategic initiatives driving the company’s growth and expansion.


Venture X, a coworking and flexible workspace provider, has signed a lease for 30,262 square feet at Harborview Plaza, 3031 N. Rocky Point Drive West, in Tampa, and plans to occupy the entire sixth floor of the 205,049-square-foot building with a move-in scheduled for January 2026.

Tampa Preparatory School celebrated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Genshaft & Greenbaum Building of Learning and Discovery, a facility featuring university-level science labs designed to inspire research, innovation and creativity, made possible by a $5 million gift from Dr. Judy Genshaft and Steven Greenbaum

Hannah Compton has joined the Tampa office of Ogletree Deakins as an associate, focusing on employment law, including defending discrimination and wage cases, conducting workplace investigations and trainings, and drafting employee handbooks and agreements.

ExecuJet Charter Service, a Tampa-based private aviation company, has earned Federal Aviation Administration certification as an official Part 145 Repair Station. 


Muma Children’s Hospital and Tampa General Hospital’s Women’s Institute are enhancing community services by adding Dr. Courtney Mascoe, a fellowship-trained pediatric and adolescent gynecology specialist, who also joins the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Sub-Specialties.
