Sneak peek: LEGOLAND Florida’s SEA LIFE Aquarium set to debut in May (PHOTOS)

LEGOLAND Florida Resort provided an early look at its upcoming SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium, during a behind-the-scenes hard hat tour. The new attraction, described as the world’s first “Theme Park Under the Sea,” is scheduled to open on May 23, 2025.

“SEA LIFE Florida is designed to be a child’s first aquarium experience,” said Franceen Gonzales, president of LEGOLAND Florida Resort. Gonzales emphasized the attraction aims to educate young visitors and promote marine conservation efforts.

The aquarium is designed for families with children aged 2 to 12. Upon completion, it will feature 10 immersive galleries and 25 interactive exhibits, including hands-on touch pools and a variety of marine life.

SEA LIFE Florida will house more than 3,000 animals, from 150 species, such as blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays and big-belly seahorses. Notable features include a 150,000-gallon ocean habitat, a freshwater gallery and a dedicated stingray bay.
