Clearwater Marine Aquarium will host its annual AquaGala fundraiser on April 26, with a “Disco Under the Sea” theme, featuring ocean-inspired cuisine, live entertainment and silent and live auctions to support marine life rescue and rehabilitation programs.
The event will be held at the aquarium’s Jacobson Ballroom and will include animal encounters, live music and food by Puff ’n Stuff Catering. TV personality Sean Daly will emcee the evening, which includes the presentation of two community awards.
Randy Ware of West Coast Medical Resources will receive the Frank Chivas Positive Impact Award and Bridget Starr will be honored with the Winter’s Hope Award, for her dedication to marine conservation.
Silent auction bidding opens online before the event, while the live auction will occur in person during the gala. Guests will be invited to an afterparty following dinner and the awards presentation.
Proceeds will support Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s animal care, facility expansion and educational outreach efforts.
