The United Soccer League has entered a multi-year naming rights agreement with Gainbridge, a Group 1001 company, marking the first time a professional soccer league in the United States has secured an entitlement partner.
Beginning with the 2025-26 season, the USL Super League will be known as the Gainbridge Super League. The league, designated Division I, is the USL’s top-tier women’s competition.
USL officials called the deal a milestone for women’s sports and professional soccer.
“Gainbridge’s belief and investment in what we’re building demonstrates a long-term commitment to the success of professional women’s soccer,” said Amanda Vandervort, president of the USL Super League. “This partnership will help elevate our league, clubs players and communities.”
The agreement also names Gainbridge as the exclusive financial services partner for the league and its teams.
Gainbridge has been expanding its sports sponsorship portfolio, with partnerships across the WNBA, LPGA and professional tennis. The company recently added former U.S. Women’s National Team goalkeeper Briana Scurry to its roster of brand ambassadors, which also includes Caitlin Clark, Billie Jean King and Annika Sörenstam.
The new league branding will be rolled out across platforms including social media, broadcasts, stadium signage and uniforms.
