South Tampa Chamber announces 2025 Business of the Year Awards finalists

The South Tampa Chamber has announced 33 finalists, across 11 categories, for its 2025 Business of the Year Awards, celebrating local businesses, and leaders, for their contributions to innovation, community engagement and professional excellence.

The finalists represent a wide range of industries, from law firms and construction companies to nonprofits and media organizations. Winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony on June 18, at the Westshore Grand Hotel.

Here are this year’s finalists:

Small Business of the Year: Burruezo & Burruezo; Elevate; Socially Funded

Medium Business of the Year: Brick Media; Chef & the Baker South Tampa; Shelby Construction

Large Business of the Year: CAKE POS; Salon Halo; Source 1 Solutions:Tampa Veterinary Hospital

Emerging Business of the Year: Manifest Prosthetics & Orthotics; Professor Posture

Community Impact: Tampa Bay Business & Wealth; Pia Esthetics Day Spa

Innovation Award: 7th Sky; Fastsigns South Tampa; Life Guard Imaging

Minority Business of the Year: ABC EVENTS; Pure Health and Hormone Center; The Little Years Therapy Co.

Nonprofit of the Year: Frameworks of Tampa Bay; Metropolitan Ministries; Hillsborough Education Foundation; Blue Star Families; Grey Bull Rescue; Bikes for Christ

Young Professional of the Year: Jake Kurtz (Brick Media); Ma Isabella Rosal (7th Sky); Simeon Hill (Edward Jones)

Business Leader of the Year: Paige Niehaus (Hillsborough Community College); Ann Madsen (The Centre for Women); Bernadette Pello (FTA/SEMS/Livingstone); Greg Slater (THEA)

In addition to the finalist recognitions, HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital will receive the 2025 COMPASS Award, which honors individuals or organizations that exemplify the values of Community, Outreach, Mentorship, Partnership, Advocacy, Support and Stewardship.
