Tampa Bay Wave has launched its 2025 HealthTech|X Accelerator, with 16 health-focused startups from around the world, to its next program. Supported by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, and several regional and national sponsors, the program highlights Tampa Bay’s rising status as a national hub for health care innovation.
“This year’s HealthTech|X Accelerator builds on the momentum of Tampa’s growing medical and research ecosystem,” said Linda Olson, chief executive officer of Tampa Bay Wave. “Thanks to the support of our partners, we’re elevating founders whose innovations are shaping the future of health care.”
The selected companies’ technologies range from AI-driven diagnostics and fertility health platforms to advanced scrubs for health care workers and digital solutions for post-op care and prescription management.
The program is backed by The Florida High Tech Corridor, USF Health CAMLS, Foley & Lardner, Levo Health, Thoropass and Insight Assurance.
