On the Scene: South Tampa Chamber Honors 2025 Business of the Year winners (PHOTOS)

The South Tampa Chamber celebrated the achievements of local businesses and leaders during its 2025 Business of the Year Awards, held at the Westshore Grand Hotel. The annual event recognized outstanding contributions to the region’s economic and social vitality, with honors spanning a range of industries and categories.

A record number of nominations were submitted this year, with over 80 applicants reviewed by a panel of local business and community leaders. Finalists were named in twelve categories, with the following named 2025 winners:

Small Business: Burruezo & Burruezo, PLLC

Medium Business: Brick Media

Large Business: Source 1 Solutions

Emerging Business: Manifest Prosthetics & Orthotics

Community Impact: Tampa Bay Business & Wealth

Innovation: Life Guard Imaging

Minority-Owned Business: The Little Years Therapy Co.

Small Non-Profit: Grey Bull Rescue

Large Non-Profit: Frameworks of Tampa Bay, Inc.

Young Professional of the Year: Jake Kurtz, Brick Media

Business Leader of the Year: Greg Slater, Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority

COMPASS Award: HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital

The COMPASS Award, launched in 2024, recognizes organizations that embody leadership through Community, Outreach, Mentorship, Partnership, Advocacy, Support and Stewardship. This year’s honoree, HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, was applauded for its continued excellence in healthcare and community service.

Founded in 1926, the South Tampa Chamber represents more than 600 members and is recognized as a Certified Plus Chamber by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals.
