CASA Pinellas’ Domestic Violence Awareness Scavenger Hunt returns for third year

TBBW Staff September 10, 2025

CASA Pinellas’ Domestic Violence Awareness Scavenger Hunt returns for its third year on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.

This team-building event raises critical funds for CASA’s award-winning programs, while supporting local businesses, highlighting all St. Pete has to offer and educating the community on the dangers of domestic violence.

Participants create teams of 2-10 members, raising funds and awareness for domestic violence survivors, leading up to the event. Tickets are $35 per person and include a Scavenger Hunt entry, an exclusive t-shirt designed by a local artist (previous artists include Chad Mize and Jujmo) and an after party at Good Night John Boy with a DJ, beverage of choice and lunch.

Team fundraising is happening now through the end of October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Scavenger Hunt kicks off at noon at Welcome to the Farm, and wraps up at 3 P.M. at Good Night John Boy, where prizes will be awarded for top fundraising teams, top scoring teams and best team costumes.

Last year’s scavenger hunt raised over $100,000 to support survivors and shed light on this often-hidden crisis. This year, CASA Pinellas aims to surpass that amount and continue providing essential programs and services to those in need in Pinellas County.

“In my experience, everybody knows somebody who is being impacted by domestic violence, but they usually don’t know it,” says Lariana Forsythe, chief executive officer of CASA Pinellas “So, I think it’s so important to raise community consciousness about the prevalence of the issue.”
