Liquor Depot’s charity barrel release to benefit Mike Alstott Family Foundation

Jo-Lynn Brown Published: September 19, 2025 | Updated: September 19, 2025

Liquor Depot owner Trey Lawson is again teaming up with former Buccaneers fullback Mike Alstott and the Mike Alstott Family Foundation for the store’s annual charity barrel fundraiser.

On Saturday, Oct. 11, 125 bottles of a 12-year Penelope Estate Collection Rye will be available exclusively at the Liquor Depot Waters location, 7304 W. Waters Ave., in Tampa. Doors open at 9 a.m., and the bottles will be sold first-come, first-served, one per customer, for $169.50 each. Alstott will be on site to sign bottles and take photos with fans.

This year’s barrel celebrates the Buccaneers’ 50th season, with 100 percent of proceeds supporting the Mike Alstott Family Foundation, which helps children and families through events, programs and celebrations.

Since launching the fundraiser in 2021, Liquor Depot has donated nearly $40,000 to the foundation through three prior barrels. Lawson’s goal for the fourth release is to raise more than $10,000.

Liquor Depot operates six locations across Tampa.
