Which Tampa restaurant made OpenTable’s Top 100 list?

Bern’s Steak House is the only Tampa restaurant to earn a place on OpenTable’s Top 100 list for 2025.

Bern’s Steak House is the only Tampa restaurant to appear on OpenTable’s 2025 Top 100 Restaurants in America list. The annual list highlights the most-booked and highest-rated dining rooms in the country, based on more than 10 million verified diner reviews and reservation data.

This recognition places Bern’s in a national group of restaurants known for exceptional service, standout menus and strong guest demand.

What happened

OpenTable published its 2025 Top 100 list and named Bern’s Steak House as one of the honorees. Bern’s is one of only three restaurants in Florida to make the list.

“We are honored to be named one of OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants. Being the only restaurant in Tampa and one of just three in Florida on this list is truly special,” David Laxer, owner of Bern’s Steak House, told TBBW. “OpenTable’s recognition comes directly from our diners based on their reviews and demand, which makes this honor even more meaningful.”

“We are proud to provide a unique dining experience where people can come together to enjoy a great meal, celebrate and share special moments.”

OpenTable said the list reflects strong interest in intimate dining rooms, focused service and high-quality food. The list is alphabetical and unranked.

Why this matters

Bern’s continues to be one of Tampa’s top draws for business leaders, locals and out-of-town guests. Its appearance on the list strengthens Tampa’s standing as a national dining destination.

Bern’s is known worldwide for its wine program. The cellar holds more than 6800 selections and more than half a million bottles. It has earned the Wine Spectator Grand Award for many years. The restaurant also offers more than 150 wines by the glass, including nearly 300 Madeiras, Ports and Sherries.
