Fulfillment Lab moves HQ to Pasco County, invests $2M

Fulfillment Lab relocates its headquarters to Pasco County with a $2M investment in technology and operations.

The Fulfillment Lab has expanded its operations and relocated its headquarters to Pasco County, adding another technology-driven company to the Tampa Bay Area’s growing business ecosystem.

A $2 million investment in Pasco County

The advanced logistics and software company has invested more than $2 million in new equipment and racking systems at Sunlake Business Center.

The move builds on an initial 35,000 sq ft lease signed in 2025. The company has already expanded by another 10,000 sq ft as demand accelerated.

Proprietary software driving fulfillment growth

Founded by Rick Nelson, The Fulfillment Lab develops proprietary fulfillment software designed to support high-volume eCommerce operations.

Its platform integrates directly with TikTok, Shopify and Amazon, giving online sellers end-to-end visibility across order creation, fulfillment, and delivery.

“The Fulfillment Lab has always been driven by technology, and this expansion allows us to further develop our proprietary systems and bring smarter, more efficient fulfillment solutions to our clients,” Nelson said. “Thanks to the compliance and regulatory support provided by Pasco County and Pasco EDC, we were able to secure our certificate of occupancy and serve our customers through the busy holiday season. We couldn’t have gotten where we are today without their assistance.”

Pasco County’s role in the expansion

The relocation places the company’s headquarters squarely within the Tampa Bay business landscape while reinforcing Pasco County’s role in attracting technology-focused companies that blend software, logistics and automation.

Pasco Economic Development Council supported the expansion as part of its broader effort to strengthen the county’s advanced technology and logistics sectors.

“The Fulfillment Lab’s decision to grow in Pasco County underscores the region’s strength as a hub for advanced technology,” said Bill Cronin, president and CEO of Pasco EDC. “Their proprietary software and integration capabilities set them apart in the fulfillment industry, and we’re proud to see this level of innovation happening right here in our community.”

Community impact beyond the warehouse

Beyond its commercial growth, the company has also supported local charities by providing fulfillment services for donation drives and care package initiatives, extending its operational capacity into community impact.

“This is the kind of forward-thinking investment that keeps Pasco County on the rise,” said Lisa Yeager. “We’re excited to welcome The Fulfillment Lab and the momentum they bring to our tech economy.”

What comes next for the company

The Pasco County facility now serves as the company’s headquarters alongside an additional location in Salt Lake City, Utah.

From Tampa Bay, The Fulfillment Lab plans to continue scaling its software-driven fulfillment model for eCommerce sellers operating at national and global levels.

Why it matters

As Tampa Bay business leaders look for scalable infrastructure without leaving the region, Pasco County is increasingly landing companies that combine technology, logistics and automation.

For the region’s business community, the move reflects how software companies are reshaping fulfillment while keeping headquarters and investment local.
