Hyde Park Village is expanding its fashion lineup once again. LoveShackFancy is scheduled to make its Tampa Bay debut Friday, July 10, with a new boutique at 1619 W. Snow Ave.
The opening marks the retailer’s third Florida store and its first outside South Florida. LoveShackFancy will occupy the space formerly leased by apparel retailer J. McLaughlin.
For WS Development, which acquired Hyde Park Village in 2013, the lease adds another nationally recognized brand to the property’s growing roster of fashion tenants.
The boutique features an interior inspired by historic Palm Beach homes, with blush grasscloth walls, decorative latticework and crystal chandeliers designed to showcase the brand’s floral-heavy women’s apparel and accessories.
LoveShackFancy describes its aesthetic as celebrating “the beauty of a flower-filled, rose-colored world.”
The retailer joins an increasingly competitive mix of luxury and contemporary fashion brands at Hyde Park Village.

WS Development has continued to attract premium retailers to the property, with LoveShackFancy joining tenants including Zimmermann, Alice + Olivia and Veronica Beard.
To mark the opening, the retailer will host a two-day grand opening beginning Friday at 10 a.m. The event will include Tampa-exclusive merchandise, live entertainment and giveaways for early shoppers.
Since joining the WS Development portfolio in 2013, Hyde Park Village has evolved into one of Tampa’s premier shopping destinations while preserving the neighborhood’s historic character. Its curated mix of national brands, restaurants and local businesses made it a natural fit for LoveShackFancy’s expansion into the Tampa Bay market.
“When I picture LoveShackFancy at Hyde Park Village, it makes me smile. I see someone walking through the neighborhood on a Saturday morning and stepping inside for what she thinks will be five minutes but suddenly losing half an hour,” said Samantha David, president of WS Development. “We always hoped that Hyde Park would be a place of discovery, of finding something hidden and special around the corner, and that’s exactly what LoveShackFancy brings.”
