Metropolitan Ministries teams up with WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil and other volunteers for relief efforts

In the wake of Hurricane Ian, the World Central Kitchen team, along with the Metro kitchen team, and other volunteers are preparing to distribute meals for people in dire need, starting Friday, and will continue efforts during the weekend.

Thaddeus Bullard, aka WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil, will be joined by local restauranter and co-founder of Next Level Brands Hospitality Jeff Gigante, philanthropist Tony March and a group of local volunteers.

The WCK team’s goal is to prepare 15,000 hot meals, and 10,000 cold meals, using Metropolitan Ministries’ commercial kitchen as the main hub for disaster relief for those affected in southwest Florida, according to a statement.

Details are as follows:

EMERGENCY SERVICES AVAILABLE (while supplies last)

These services are for local families in dire need of food

  1. Nonperishable food box drive-up
  2. Bagged lunches
  3. Bottled water
  4. Power for phone charging

Help navigating shelter, housing assistance, financial assistance and other resources will resume next week during normal business hours.
