Kahwa Coffee and St. Pete Arts Alliance announces latest coffee can art

The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, along with its community partner Kahwa Coffee, revealed the second collaboration in a series that supports the building of the St. Petersburg Arts Endowment, through the sale of art-wrapped coffee canisters at every Kahwa for preorder online and in store available in all Kahwa locations.

The latest artist is Glenyse Thompson, an abstract visual artist who moved to St. Petersburg from Chicago in 2010.

The first in the series with local artist Chad Mize, sold out, according to a statement.

SPAA and Kahwa Coffee will launch the second collaboration at an event open to the public on Wednesday, February 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kahwa South, in St Petersburg, at 204 2nd Avenue South.

Cans will be available for purchase at the event as well as online at https://kahwacoffee.com/products/artcoffeecan. 100% of the net proceeds benefit the SPAA.
