Tampa Bay United Rowdies, the youth affiliate program for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, named Tiffeny Milbrett director of coach and player development, in charge of technical development and leading the organizations’ broad depth of competitive and recreational soccer teams across all five campus locations in the region.

Caddy’s

St. Petersburg beach bar Caddy’s has announced it will begin hosting weddings at its four Tampa Bay area locations through a partnership with Treasure Island-based Simple Weddings.

Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, facilitated the sale of Blue Skies Apartments, a nine-unit property in St. Pete Beach, for $1.3 million.

Bishops, a barbershop from Portland, Oregon, is moving into the Green-Richman Arcade at 689 Central Ave., St. Petersburg.

The Global Technology Distribution Council, an international consortium of technology distributors in St. Petersburg, named Frank Vitagliano CEO.

►Jodi McLean was named director of strategic initiatives at The Symphony Agency in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg College ranked first in Florida and sixth in the nation among associate colleges for sending students abroad, according to the Institute of International Education 2018 Open Doors Report, with more than 150 SPC students having traveled to other countries while earning college credit during the last year.

Catalent (NYSE: CTLT), a contract drug manufacturer with a plant in St. Petersburg, agreed to buy Paragon Bioservices for $1.2 billion.

MarineMax, based in Clearwater, promoted Vice President of Information Technology Shawn Berg to chief digital officer.

►Pyper, a marketing agency in St. Petersburg, promoted Catherine “Cat” Lim to creative team leader to lead team growth and development while continuing to create content for clients.

Dwell Real Estate, a Sarasota-based luxury real estate firm, expanded to downtown St. Petersburg and added Liane Jamason, a St. Petersburg real estate agent who generated $24 million in sales volume in 2018, to its roster of agents.

Enable Me, a St. Petersburg provider of technologically-advanced movement therapy devices, promoted Amy Gress to chief operating officer.

The Blackstone Group has acquired the Verandahs at Brighton Bay, a 381-unit multifamily rental complex in St. Petersburg, for $65.2 million.

►HCA Healthcare’s Largo Medical Center named Wyatt Chocklett its chief operating officer.

► St. Petersburg launched a new Entrepreneur-in-Residence program, a two-year pilot program to position a local entrepreneur as a liaison between the city and the entrepreneurial community, and named Reuben Presssman, founder and CEO of Presence, to fill the role.

►Berkadia arranged a $13.57 million refinancing of Promenade at Edgewater, a 188-unit multifamily property in Dunedin, on behalf of buyer Pensam Capital.
