19-story condominium breaks ground in downtown St. Petersburg (RENDERINGS)

Developers of The Julia have officially broken ground at the site of the condominium tower, at 100 4th Ave. N., in St. Petersburg.

The 19-story condominium gives residents the opportunity to rent their homes for a minimum of 30 days, up to 12 times per year, with management provided by Vacasa, a vacation rental management company.

Developers of The Julia have officially broken ground at the site of the condominium tower, at 100 4th Ave. N., in St. Petersburg.

The development team, in partnership with interior designer Steven Gurowitz, and his team at Interiors by Steven G, will offer fully furnished, move-in-ready residences for an additional charge.

“With the groundbreaking, we are commencing site preparations and readying to welcome future residents to the heart of St. Petersburg. We want to thank our team, partners, the city and the Chamber for their support, and trust, in our development vision. We are excited to bring economic growth and a vibrant new urban experience to the region,” said Robert Sherman, president of MBA Development and co-developer.

Designed by Architectonics Studio, The Julia comprises 19 uniquely designed residences, ranging from 1,905 to 3,132 square feet. Two residences are on each floor and start at $1.6 million.

Only one penthouse unit encompasses the entire 18th floor and provides a 360-degree view overlooking the city.
