Habitat for Humanity Hillsborough and Tampa Bay Buccaneers announce partnership

Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will launch a community partnership to address affordable housing, in Hillsborough County.

As part of the initiative, Buccaneer players will contribute, financially, to help fund the construction of two Habitat homes in the Temple Terrace community.

In addition, players and team staff, alongside middle school students from the player-led Youth Leadership Program, will join Habitat volunteers, on November 14, to kick off projects supporting the homeownership for the families of Tampa residents Tiffany Miranda and Ana Navarro.

Volunteers will participate in projects, such as painting and landscaping.

Construction is expected to be completed next month, followed by a home dedication celebration where Bucs players will hand keys to the new homeowners.

Once completed, the two homes will add to the six Habitat Hillsborough has built this year, with another 30 homes under construction.
