Keli and Mark Mondello to donate $3 million to Clearwater school for neurodiverse children and adults

Jo-Lynn Brown December 18, 2023

Keli and Mark Mondello are donating $3 million dollars to LiFT, Learning Independence for Tomorrow, a school in Clearwater, for neurodiverse children and adults.

Keli, who co-founded the school to help her own neurodivergent daughter in 2013, and her husband Mark, the former chief executive officer of Jabil Circuit in St. Petersburg, have committed to matching up to $3.5 million more in donations made through the end of the year.

“Mark and I are deeply committed to the transformative vision of LiFT’s future,” said Keli. “Matching donations is our way of amplifying the impact of every contribution, ensuring that, together, we can create a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. This campaign isn’t just about bricks and mortar, it’s about building opportunities and a community while promoting inclusion and empowering individuals with neurodiversity to thrive.”

The Mondello’s are currently co-chairs of the school’s LiFTing Our Future Capital Campaign.

In August, LiFT opened a 60,000-square-foot campus, at 1005 South Highland Avenue in Clearwater.
