ReliaQuest Bowl names chair of 2024-2025 season

The Tampa Bay Bowl Association has announced that Greg Orchard has been elected to the post of Chair of the Board of Directors of the ReliaQuest Bowl, a college bowl game held annually, in Tampa.

Orchard is a former CPA and retired as chief financial officer of Visit Tampa Bay. He has previously served as vice chair and treasurer of the bowl board and has been a volunteer and a member of the Board of Directors for thirty-five years.

“I am excited to serve in this leadership position with the ReliaQuest Bowl,” said Orchard. “The tremendous impact the bowl has each year on our local economy, combined with its ongoing contributions to local community charities, has made this bowl a true treasure for the Tampa Bay region. I am proud to be involved with such an amazing organization.”

Additional officers of the board for the 2024-25 bowl include: Glenn Fasani, Ameriprise Financial, as vice chairman; Mindi Richter, partner, Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, as vice chair of Pinellas County; Cheryl Kleiman, regional vice president, Flexential as vice chair of Hillsborough County; and Kyle Burd, senior vice president and managing director of Cousins Properties as secretary.

New additions to the Bowl’s Board of Directors include Julie Leonard, chief executive officer of Lake Michigan Credit Union, and Bill Merchant, senior director of philanthropy, Quest, Inc.
