⊲ Samurai Cat, a new Japanese bakery and cafe concept, opened at 407 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, the former home of Beans & Barlour cafe and dessert shop. 

⊲ PSCU/Co-op Solutions, a St. Petersburg-based premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, has announced the launch of its new digital lending suite, Origination Solutions, in partnership with Amount.

⊲ MEB Management Services, a Phoenix-based multifamily management company servicing the Southwest, and Weller Management, a third-party property management and consulting company based in St Petersburg, serving the Southeast, merged to become Bryten Real Estate Partners creating a nationally recognized management company. 

⊲ The American Nurses Credentialing Center named St. Petersburg’s Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital a Magnet-designated facility for the second time.

⊲ Clearwater-based Flagship Bank named David Key to serve as the new chief executive officer and president.

⊲ Speer YMCA opened its Publix Sportsplex track and field facility, at 501 62nd Ave. NE, in St. Petersburg.

⊲ The owners of Lolita’s Wine Market will debut a new concept – Chef’s Table by Lolita’s – at 16 18th Street South, St. Petersburg. 

⊲ Clearwater-based cybersecurity firm KnowBe4 is acquiring Egress, a data privacy and compliance company based in the United Kingdom (financials not disclosed). 

⊲ Julius Nasso, founder of The Big City Group and Big City Hospitality, has announced plans for the new concept, San Valentino Italian Market, which will debut later this year, at 2063 1st Avenue South, in St. Petersburg.
