First Watch reopens in Downtown Tampa ahead of the holidays

Tampa welcomes back popular brunch spot with new restaurant on North Tampa Street

First Watch plans to open its new restaurant, in downtown Tampa, on Dec. 23, at 400 N. Tampa St., near the site of its original location, which operated from 1996 until earlier this year.

The 4,000-square-foot space will seat 160 guests and feature an indoor bar and a locally inspired mural.

To celebrate the opening, diners during the first week will receive free Project Sunrise coffee and holiday-themed treats including First Watch Brunch Bucks, on select days. The restaurant will serve its menu of made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes including customer favorites like avocado toast, lemon ricotta pancakes and fresh juices, prepared daily.

The new location will employ about 30 people and follow First Watch’s “No Night Shifts Ever” policy. Operating hours are 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for dine-in, pickup and delivery.
