Sparrow Brings Rooftop Dining and Views to St. Petersburg (PHOTOS)

Sparrow, a rooftop restaurant and lounge at Moxy St. Petersburg, is set to open on Dec. 20, marking the first rooftop dining venue in the city’s EDGE District.

The Central Avenue restaurant offers a mix of Asian-inspired dishes and cocktails in an indoor-outdoor setting with views of downtown St. Petersburg.

The 4,000-square-foot space includes a marble-topped indoor bar, an outdoor patio and a seating capacity of up to 250. Guests can choose between indoor booths or outdoor mosaic tables, surrounded by greenery.

Following the success of Sparrow’s Fort Lauderdale location, this new venue aims to reflect the artistic, and eclectic, character of St. Petersburg. “The Moxy St. Pete’s DNA is all about Central Avenue, the EDGE District and St. Petersburg—and Sparrow is a true reflection of what makes this area special, while also celebrating its bright future,” said Nicholas Pantuliano, a partner at PTM Partners.

The menu includes items such as bao buns, Korean fried chicken, Thai seared snapper and sushi rolls named after local landmarks like the “Edge District Dragon” and “Central Ave. Crunch.” The drink menu features signature cocktails including “Dali’s Surrealist Dreams,” which combines green tea vodka, passion fruit and Lillet Blanc.
