Hope Perez, an 18-year banking industry expert, has joined St. Petersburg-based BayFirst National Bank as senior vice president and director of business banking, leading the development and delivery of business banking services across its 12 Tampa Bay branches.

Kolter Urban has acquired 4.5 acres of waterfront property, on St. Pete Beach, for $15.1 million, to develop a mixed-use residential project, expanding its portfolio of luxury developments in the area.

St. Pete residents Kevin and Lisa Goettel are bringing Dill Dinkers, a Maryland-based pickleball club franchise, to Pinellas County, with plans to open at least 10 locations, starting with a targeted facility in St. Petersburg.

Velera, a St. Petersburg-based financial technology provider, has appointed Joan Opp, president and chief executive officer of Stanford Federal Credit Union, to its board of directors, succeeding Dennis Devine.

Wild Fork Meat and Seafood Market opened its first St. Petersburg location, at 2801 4th Street North, offering a selection of meats and seafood.
