Chris Moyer begins chair term at CEO Council of Tampa Bay, announces major news for SME Solutions Group

Chris Moyer, former founder, president and chief executive officer of SME Solutions Group, has started his term as chair of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay.

“I am honored to lead the CEO Council into 2025 and look forward to building upon our strong foundation to foster growth and innovation within our business community,” says Moyer.

Moyer takes the reins from Todd Hall, CEO of Talent Hall Staffing, who now serves as the immediate past chair. Under Hall’s leadership, in 2024, the council welcomed 32 new members, launched a membership app and debuted its first-ever merchandise store.

“These accomplishments were made possible by the exceptional leadership of our 2024 chairman, Todd Hall, and our dedicated board of directors,” says Alyssa Rhoads, executive director of the CEO Council. “As we look ahead to 2025, under the guidance of our new chairman, Chris Moyer, we are excited to build on this momentum with innovative programs, impactful workshops and an extraordinary Pinnacle speaker. The future of the CEO Council has never been brighter.”

Moyer’s appointment coincides with a significant milestone in his career: the acquisition of SME Solutions Group by Blue Mantis, with corporate headquarters in Portsmouth New Hampshire and offices in Tampa. Moyer was appointed as vice president of the data enablement and analytics practice at the newly merged company.

“Joining forces with Blue Mantis presents a significant market opportunity to expand our reach and enhance our overall technology service offerings,” Moyer says.
