New Hyatt Centric Hotel and Luxury Residences coming to Sarasota’s waterfront (RENDERINGS)

Kolter Group has announced a new luxury development, at 1000 Boulevard of the Arts, in Sarasota, featuring residential condominiums and a full-service Hyatt Centric Harborside hotel. Construction is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Located in Sarasota’s waterfront district, at Quay Commons and Boulevard of the Arts, the development will offer direct access to the Quay harbor. The project includes 117 luxury condominiums starting at $1.4 million, ground-floor retail space and a restaurant site at the building’s northeast corner.

The Hyatt Centric Harborside hotel will include 174 guest rooms and more than 7,000 square feet of event space including a ballroom, meeting rooms and a support kitchen. Amenities will include a resort-style pool and pool bar, along the harbor.

The project comes as the nearby Hyatt Regency Sarasota, which opened in 1975, prepares to close. Kolter Hospitality will host a job fair to assist displaced employees and said the new hotel will create long-term employment opportunities in the region.

Kolter Hospitality and Kolter Urban, both divisions of the Kolter Group, have developed multiple hospitality and residential projects in Sarasota. The new hotel will be the third full-service property for Kolter Hospitality in the area, while the condominiums mark Kolter Urban’s sixth luxury residential development in the city.
