Great Places and Spaces: St. Pete Athletic Paddle & Social (RENDERINGS)

Jo-Lynn Brown July 16, 2025

Construction is underway for the St. Pete Athletic Paddle & Social, a 45,000-square-foot indoor sports and social club, in St. Petersburg’s Warehouse Arts District. Set to open in August 2025, the facility will offer 14 indoor pickleball courts, two padel courts and six cabana-style table tennis stations. Additional amenities include a boutique gym, sauna, cold plunge and a 6,000-square-foot members-only lounge.

The venue will feature a full-service restaurant, led by Intermezzo’s Jarrett Sabatini, a craft beer program, by Green Bench Brewing, and multiple bars including a members-only speakeasy-style lounge. Guests will be able to order food and drinks throughout the facility via iPads or QR codes. Advanced sports technology will provide live scorekeeping and instant replays on the courts.

Memberships are priced at $250 per month for individuals, $450 for couples and $600 for families, offering perks like unlimited open play, exclusive court access and preferred pricing on services. The club aims to serve as both a premier athletic facility and a vibrant social hub for the community.
