Shumaker Advisors has helped secure $3.5 million in state funding, over the past four years, for the Blue Angels Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting wounded veterans through transitional housing, mental health services, suicide prevention and post-traumatic stress treatment.
The Blue Angels Foundation, led by former members of the U.S. Navy’s elite flight demonstration squadron, aims to help Veterans rebuild confidence, reconnect with their communities and reclaim their lives after service.

“For me, it’s personal,” said Alan Suskey, executive vice president of Shumaker Advisors and a combat Veteran who served eight years in the U.S. Army, including during the initial invasion of Iraq. “It was an honor to serve and it’s an even greater privilege to support those who continue to bear the burdens of service. This partnership ensures wounded Veterans have what they need to rise again and build meaningful lives after the uniform.”
Shumaker Advisors is the public affairs and government relations division of Shumaker, which has more than 300 attorneys and advisors across the United States.
