Sirata Beach Resort completes $25 million renovation, to join Hilton’s Tapestry Collection (PHOTOS)

Sirata Beach Resort has completed a $25 million renovation of its guest rooms, suites, lobby and fitness center.

The beachfront property, which has been a staple along the Gulf Coast since the 1960s, is owned and managed by Columbia Sussex. The property will transition into a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property, following the completion of the second phase of renovations.

All 228 guest rooms, including 80 suites, were redesigned to reflect a modern, coastal aesthetic with natural textures, ocean-inspired accents and minimalist tones. Updates include new furniture and furnishings, walk-in showers, high-speed Wi-Fi, 55-inch televisions, with Hilton’s entertainment package, and improved lighting and workspace features.

The resort also includes 30,000 square feet of meeting space, across nine venues, such as two ballrooms, breakout rooms, beachfront pavilions and outdoor decks. The adjacent Sirata Beach Hotel adds another 125 guest rooms to accommodate larger events.

Located on St. Pete Beach, the property offers direct access to a private beach.

Sirata’s affiliation with Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, a portfolio of upscale, independent hotels, is expected to be finalized upon completion of the resort’s ongoing upgrades.
