University of South Florida Athletics has entered a multi-year radio partnership with Beasley Media Group to make Q105 FM the flagship station for Bulls football beginning with the 2025–26 season.
The agreement, secured by Bulls Athletic Properties, also includes the launch of the first Spanish-language broadcasts of USF football on Playa 106.9 FM starting in 2026, with the possibility of selected games airing as soon as this season.
In addition to football broadcasts, USF Athletics content will air on 1010 AM Alumni Radio and receive promotional support from Beasley stations including 92.5 Maxima, WiLD 94.1, 98.7 The Shark and 99.5 QYK.
USF’s football broadcasts will again feature veteran announcer Jim Louk, who enters his 29th season as the “Voice of the Bulls.” He will be joined by former USF and Green Bay Packers linebacker Sam Barrington as analyst, senior writer Joey Johnston as sideline reporter and engineer Brett Holcomb.
Men’s and women’s basketball broadcasts also return with Jim Lighthall and Darek Sharp calling games, alongside Johnston and former Bulls player Brigid Merenda.
Football game coverage will continue to include the USF Pregame Show, with the first hour available digitally through Bulls Unlimited and streaming platforms, and the second hour and postgame show on Q105 FM and Bulls Unlimited. BullsEye, the weekly USF coaches’ show, will also return across multiple platforms.
