A son of an immigrant, Marks’ father never made it past eighth grade, but says, “Everywhere he went, he ended up being a servant leader.” Inspired by his father’s dedication to service, Marks left a multiple six-figure sales director career (as an electrical engineer by degree) to help the homeless in Boston, after 9/11.
