MOD Pizza opens location in Tampa Bay

MOD Pizza opened its first Tampa Bay area location in October in the Cypress Creek Town Center.

The chain offers artisan-style pizza and salads, customized by the customer, using any combination of more than 30 featured toppings, or they can choose from the menu.

Pizzas are hand-cooked, and salads are individually hand-tossed for each customer.

The Lutz store also plans to help the community by partnering with local schools, sports clubs and other organizations to host fundraising events in the 2,800 square-foot space.

The new location plans to hire about 30 employees.

BBX Capital, the exclusive franchisee for the MOD Pizza brand in Florida, has signed an agreement to develop up to 60 more Florida locations over the next five to seven years.
