One Liners Polk: Parkway Property Investments, NOAA Hurricane Hunters and more

►Watson Clinic is now offering telemedicine, allowing patients to schedule their next doctor’s appointment and connect with a member of their medical team through video chat, or private messaging, using MyChart at Watson Clinic LLP Patient Portal.

► Parkway Property Investments was joined by another firm in acquiring the 730-acre tract bordering the Polk Parkway, in west Lakeland, for $10 million and hired Whit Duncan to manage the project.

To exercise flexibility during the uncertain times resulting from COVID-19, and to take measures to keep the public and our inspectors as safe as possible, the Polk County Building Division will expand the list of inspection types eligible for Virtual Inspections and postpone inspections in occupied residential dwelling units.

Plans are in the works to expand the home of the NOAA Hurricane Hunters at Lakeland Linder International Airport to accommodate two new aircraft and 50 to 75 more employees.
