Clearwater Marine Aquarium unveils new guest spaces, food court and more (PHOTOS)

Clearwater Marine Aquarium showed off more completed parts of its $80 million expansion Friday, including a food court, retail area and above water viewing deck.

This addition is part of the $80 million expansion which began with the unveiling of the new 1.5 million gallon dolphin habitat in July.

“We’re proud to be a community asset for the Tampa Bay region,” said CEO Frank Dame, in a statement. “This unveiling is just the beginning.”

CMA will be having a celebration all weekend. Guests are invited to stop in to enjoy the new views, as well as various pop-up locations placed throughout CMA for a socially-distanced indoor/outdoor event featuring local artists, conservation groups and wildlife rescue partners.[image_slider_no_space on_click=”prettyphoto” height=”300″ images=”9546,9545,9544,9543,9542,9541,9540,9539,9538,9537,9536,9535,9534″]
