The Good Life: Shop Jackie and The West Events

Let Jackie do the shopping for you

Jackie, an online shopping service with a boutique in Bradenton, was one of the many businesses owned by Amber Duncan, one half of TBBW’s cover duo from September.

The process starts by applying to join the membership. When accepted, you will have your stylist work to curate a box for you for a $39.99 styling fee, which is recouped if you spend more than $100 on items in that box. You can choose to get one box, one monthly or quarterly.

The company loves to fill boxes with clothes from Good American, MISA, Stateside and more.

Prefer a more in-person experience? Jackie’s boutique, and headquarters, in Bradenton, doesn’t just serve as the home office. The 8,000-square-foot space is used for in-house styling appointments and monthly Jackie events. You can even rent the space for an event of your own. Items range in price from $35-$500-plus with an average cost of $150 a piece. shopjackie.com

A chic event venue steps away from the beach

The West Events is an industrial-chic event venue at 13435 Gulf Blvd., Madeira Beach.

Preserving the structural integrity, and industrial soul, of one of the few remaining mid-century buildings along the Gulf Coast, West Events incorporated modern design and versatility to offer guests a truly unique event space experience.

West Events can host all of your special occasions like wedding receptions, corporate events, specialized birthday parties, mitzvahs, happy hours and cocktail events.

The West Events opened its doors in January and is currently booking all remaining dates in 2020 as well as 2021-22. thewesteventspace.com.
