The Miller Planetarium

The Miller Planetarium, the final building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright at Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, is undergoing a massive restoration on the exterior and, upon completion, will be open for students and the general public.

Daily Amtrak service on the Silver Star and Silver Meteor will return to Lakeland and Tampa in June, after being cut because of the coronavirus pandemic, and now that Amtrak is receiving new funding via the American Rescue Plan passed by Congress.

Watson Clinic added physician Karen Chabrier as an urgent care specialist at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Road, in Lakeland.
