Morgan Automotive Group acquires Wilde dealerships in Sarasota

The Morgan Automotive Group, based in Tampa, has acquired Wilde Automotive Group’s Sarasota dealerships.

The three dealerships will be renamed to be the all-new Lexus of Sarasota, Honda of Sarasota and Jaguar Land Rover Sarasota, according to a statement.

“We have been doing business in the Sarasota market now for over a decade with our BMW and Lamborghini stores,” said Brett Morgan, chief executive officer of the Morgan Automotive Group. “We are thrilled to add Lexus, Jaguar, Land Rover and Honda to that market offering. The Wilde family has a great reputation and we look forward to carrying their legacy forward.”

The Tampa-based Morgan Automotive Group now has 59 stores throughout Jacksonville, Lake City, Gainesville, Ocala, Orlando, Clermont, Tampa, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Naples, Ft. Pierce, West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale.
